Varangia
The city is centralized in the red circle while DSU is located at the north end of the forest. It's a full two day walk from one to the other, and is considered... relatively safe? as safe as travel can be perhaps?
I'll leave it up to your guys if you want to start next week's sesh at DSU or just arriving in Varangia proper.

Map of your beach location. I turned the grid on for this ss to see if it helps explain a bit the various nuance. Each grid segment is 23miles.
The northernmost, central, Jungle section is the area that you guys are considering for settlement. This area is higher altitude than its surroundings, providing great visibility at certain points. The south and west portions of this area have a sheer cliff drop off, mostly to poacher's lake and a bit of the western bog. The eastern side is a very gradual incline formed by floodwater runoff. Directly east of this ridge is your party beach, with the great fishing, indicated by the fish.
The dye icon is an indication of the poachers' shanty town. Although you have not been there, you have gotten close enough repeatedly to have a pretty good idea where to map it.
The banana icon is where the banana/jackfruit/jaguar-grove is. Just south of this is the beach you dug up for bodies.
Almost all of our last adventure took place in the portion of bog directly north of the eastern jungle, just west of the fish. The mosquito area that you turned back from starts in the next coastal bog just north of that on the edge of the map. Any of the inland bogs are unexplored, but observable from the heights.
