Tone and atmosphere are fantastic. A clear and compelling grasp of the genre combined with solid local color. Grammar aside, immersion wasn't a problem. I loved the slang, and in general I liked the immersive assumptions of not defining it. However, I would be careful not to imply too much without a reasonable expectation of interpretation (for example: took me too long to figure out "del" = delivery).
Pacing was also solid, although more difficult to evaluate from a single sample size. Every time I thought it was about to get dull, it moved on to the next thing. The reflective inclusion of the pre-history was exquisitely subtle and well-timed.
Environmental descriptions were excellent, but physical descriptions of the characters themselves was both inconsistent and generally lacking in comparison.
Plot is obviously unanalyzed based on a single chapter* sample.
... and even though I'm not supposed to feedback the grammar, omg paragraph breaks. More of them. Now please rofl.

Chapter 2 consistent with Ch1. Feedback is pretty much the same here. Solid pacing, consistent tension, and of course horrible paragraph structure rofl.
